21st March. THE LAUNCH

Well, since TT 2014 I have been working on all sorts of new merchandise and apparel for this year. As many of you know, we are just about ready to go on the new clothing line called "The For Love of the Sport Range." As well as all new phone cases from www.onthecase.im and a big range of new pictures and posters from various brilliant artists. But the icing on the cake has arrived.
On the 21st of March, KickStart Motorcycles of Port Talbot launched the all new MV Agusta F3 800cc Mike Hailwood replica. http://kickstartmotorcycles.uk.com/ and may I say, What a machine!!! see for yourself.......
The plan was to produce only 5 machines, 3 of which sold within one hour of these photos being posted online. Says it all, eh.

Without Charles and Paul Reynolds this would never of happened. Thank you guys for your amazing tribute, we are humbled. Thank you.

MCN Scotland

The MCN Scottish show was a great event. A show that seems to be a lot better than people let on. It was very well attended and as always the scottish people make everyone feel very welcome. A massive thank you to Tom at Live Promotions for sorting this one. A great job by the organisation, well done guys and gals.
It was also brilliant to have my good friend there. Alan came over from the Isle of Man to help promote the TT for 2015 and was mobbed all weekend. Thanks Alan for all your help.
We met loads of people and lots that we have not seen for a while. It was really nice to catch up with everyone and meet new people, especially all the guys from DOC Scotland. Thanks for dinner guys and a fab evening.

The other great thing about the weekend was getting to hand out the awards for all the bikes and stands at the show. "The Best Stand In Show," was won by the GoldWing Misfits Motorbike Club. Well done guys, a great stand.
This is a show well worth putting in the diary for next year. I will be back for another go and recommend it anyone thinking of going. Brilliant stuff.

Happy Birthday Maurice Jackson.

Well, this year has started with a bang and it seems as if we are on a roll. One of the starting events this year on the 27th Feb, was a birthday party for a man by the name of  Mr Maurice Jackson. Mike, his son arranged with me to put on a surprise birthday party with a Mike Hailwood theme. It was a big surprise when i opened the door for Maurice to find all his friends and family there to wish him a great birthday.
A great night was had by all and Mike managed to organise the most special birthday cake I have ever seen. It was truly amazing. Well done Mike for a top job and Happy Birthday Maurice Jackson. Thank you all guys.

No Ordinary Hero

The BT Sport documentary about Mike has been nominated for an award at the British Sports Journalism Awards to be held in London on the 23rd March 2015.  Included in the evening’s events will be an exhibition of the leading entries from the SJA British Sports Photography Awards.

The film has also been shortlisted for the very prestigious FOCAL International Awards which honours the use of archive footage in film.  This ceremony will also take place in London on the 21st May 2015.

Naturally, the family and myself are delighted, and send our sincere thanks to Adam Darke and the crew for making such a lovely film.
